Bedtime Chatter

Bedtime seems to illicit the oddest and most pleasant conversations between Seba and I. This evening, he asked if we could have a "ten minute pajama party." What does one do in such a short period of time? Well "you can do whatever makes you happy."

The other night, Seba asked if it was true that it "was the happiest day for everyone" the day he was born. Sweet memories. Of course, it was I said. "But I made Mikey cry the day I was born," he says, with a look I can only describe as restrained glee. "Yes, he cried. He was my only baby for a long time." Then just as quickly, the topic changed to the posibility of a giant rubber ducky floating somewhere in the ocean.

OMG.I sense a kindred spirit! Went through your earlier posts and we (and our kids) have so much in common! Terms of endearments (papi, mamu), ratoncito perez, the god questions, the love of cheese. And most of all, the wit and wisdom of our little ones (and our diligent documentation of such)! Seba is love. Are you in Manila? Would love to see pix, too! Take care, michelle!

Hi P! Yes. We are in Manila. I keep telling myself to add the pics. It's on my-to-do list. That and how to load songs onto my i-pod. And how to actually learn to work my digital camera...I had to start the blog because I didn't want to forget these moments with Sebastian. Sometimes it amazes me how he views the world. His child-like perspective is so refreshing and pure. Well you know...

Sometimes his train of thought is so out there but on the spot. Does that make sense?! We call it the Seba Logic.

Seba logic rocks! I have the same motivation, too - to never forget. :-)
