"Smoked Pirahna Please."

Sebastian loves the seafood section of the supermarket. He spends a good deal of time just looking at the assorted fish, eels, shrimps, and crabs. The one rule we have: No Touching. Apparently, this didn't apply to the live shrimp. So you can imagine my shock at seeing both hands inside the tank. After expalining that the 'No Touch' rule extends to the tanks, he asked if we could buy smoked fish. We asked the fish monger what they had. After some thought, Sebastian politely asked, "Excuse me, do you have pirahna?"

Pre-Mother's Day

Early Saturday morning. I was laying in bed waiting for Sebastian to wake. There was no hurry. It was my day to sleep in. Sebastian finally woke and quickly sat up.

"You can't get out of bed. Stay here."
"Uhm, why?"
"Isn't this the day that daddy and I make a mess in the kitchen?"
"No. That's tomorrow. It's only Saturday."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive. Daddy's not even here. He's at a golf tournament."
"Ok. You can go back to bed."
